Mann Engineering Ltd is a family-owned subcontract manufacturing and service company based in the southeast of Ireland which has been in operation for over 40 years.
Mann Engineering is a privately owned Limited company originally founded by Siegfried Fuhrmann in 1976 and is now owned and managed by his son Rolf Fuhrmann.
Mann Engineering consists of two separate divisions, Engineering and Retail. The Retail Division has been in existence for over 40 years and the Mann Engineering brand is widely known and respected throughout the industry as a leader in Shopping Trolley Supply and Maintenance.
Through our extensive knowledge of Shopping Trolleys and experience of Trolley Maintenance, we have teamed up with an Italian company Plastimark to help develop new cutting edge Shopping Trolley products for a changing world.
Mann Engineering now supplies a range of ECO TROLLEY Products, that are not only lighter and brighter than conventional steel trolleys, but are also 100% recyclable and made from a reinforced plastic to produce the world’s only TUV approved shopping trolley.
ECO TROLLEY’S are setting the standard across Europe and are the trolley of choice in Supermarket brands such as Carrefour and LeClerc. Shoppers like their ease of mobility and ergonomics, while shop owners approve of the low maintenance costs (10% on average versus a conventional Steel/Hybrid Trolley) and the reduced insurance claims and obsolescence.
Mann Engineering also produce our own range of manual handling products for the Retail Industry in our state of the art fabrication facility in Wexford, which includes a robotic welding cell. We manufacture Hand/Sack Trucks, (Standard, “J” Type, Looped Handle, Stairclimbers etc.) Cash & Carry Trolleys, Stock Trolleys, Mobile Step Ladders, Turntable Trolleys, Internet Trolleys and Garden Centre Trolleys as well as bespoke products to customer requirements.
Mann Engineering is situated on a privately owned one-acre site, just outside New Ross in Co. Wexford and is close to Rosslare Ro-Ro Port, Waterford Port & Waterford Airport as well as Motorway Access to Dublin Airport.
